The rest of their 'accessory' recommendations really aren't so bad, so read the rest, but replace 'velvet' with 'silk'. A fitted, double-breasted vintage silk jacket would be a fine replacement. Velvet, it looks like you accidentally wore your 1970s couch to the bar.
