Illustrators Like Girls!

Everyone knows John Kricfalusi is a famous illustrator who likes to draw sexy girls, but it should be ho surprise that all sorts of cartoonists like to draw babes. First, we have Chris Sanders, who was the designer of Lilo & Stitch:

And here are "54 International Cuties" from Pixar's Josh Cooley and Bill Presing:

Nah, nobody ever questioned that cartoonists like drawing boobs. Just look at what cartoonists did in 1943 -- it's be concerned if illustrators didn't want to draw sexy babes.

Rock History!

More informative than a Cracked article would be if they had one of their expert reporters just write about it, this infographic tells the awesome story of modern rock music through timelines and illustration. I love the "Subject matter line because, let's face it, guys singing about women is, really, what rock is all about, particularly the fixation on boobs of the 80s, and the pleasant diversion into hallucinogenic bizarrity through the 1970s. As somebody who's lived through those decades and remembers the music of the time, it's no wonder irony is such a well-cultivated emotion today: the most economically strong period on the timeline - the 90s - is the one most filled with despondent, cranky music. With the current recession echoing the dark days of the 80s, I'm all for huge boobs taking over our airwaves again. Wait, does music come on airwaves any more? Maybe that's the problem - people are more whiny when sitting in front of their computers. Point taken.

Erotic Homer!

Sorry, I know you were hoping, but this isn't that shitty Simpsons erotica that apparently is the only thing adult sites advertise these days. I see those ads everywhere. No, this is an actual real artist who has painted Homer Simpson in some R-rated shenanigans with somebody who isn't from the Simpson's universe. Think about it: a somewhat normal looking person must look like an alien to those overbite-plagued, yellow-skinned wierdos. Add stilletto heels, stockings, and sunglasses, and it makes you wonder what Homer really sees in her. It borders on creepy. Even more when you realize that's probably Anna Wintour. Still not as creepy as most Simpsons porn, but still.

Arthur dePins Naughty Illustration

Mr de Pins has a talent: he combines adorably cute with deeply sexy, without getting all creepy about it. The art has an anime-like, cut-paper feel, Powerpuff-Girl-ish roundess and exaggeration, but it all works well together.
